suspicions afoot !

ok so i see a lot of movies. and i mean a lot. the thing i really like about movies is that they have served the same purpose since their inception. since nickelodeons, since silent films-- there's never been a question about the basic reasoning behind people going to them. simple escapism. no questions asked. one billion (!) questions answered.
i'd see junebug again just for the previews-- lots to look forward to.

the walls in my new room are blue, a pretty shade of blue that has kept me from covering them with my own crap. until now. ominous.

optimistic! mainly because i received, and then sent, some kickass, killer-sweet, mega-stellar emails. oh, the internet. oh oh oh.

i'm covered in scrapes and bruises... means it's been a good couple of weeks.

organizational nightmare!

anything cool happening the weekend of october 13-16? fall break means i'll be down to travel.

all my favorite inanimate objects are out of commission. goodbye, car. goodbye, iPod. goodbye, computer. i will miss you dearly, but can live without you. but only for a little while.

texxxxxxxxxxas (di quote) and slo have moved from colorado, south and west, etc etc, in a drunken blur of lindsey affirming "i can't feel my face" and a reasonably nice cab driver. it was excellent having them here, though i regret not being able to be more hospitable due to the unknown rules in my new place. ssc and deleting old emails i never responded to make me want to be better at stuff, so i'll try. i slept through a fire alarm this morning. actually, it woke me up, but i thought it was someone vaccuuming. freshman move-in days means kids walking in groups searching for a huge-ass frat party with twenty kegz. classes will be awesome; i'm really looking forward to that. i know i told a lot of people i'd marry the RTD bus system if i could, and that stands. i hate how unqualified i feel to make decisions on pretty much every aspect of my life right now. i'm getting that "i break everything i touch" feeling again, and i really don't need as much stuff as i have. SIMPLIFY! new and old things.
